Friday, October 7, 2011 Stickers

This is the new sticker. Tom designed it based on the original logo. The same image will be on t-shirts, too.

Wednesday, September 7, 2011 Send me your picture.

If you play one of the violins I've built, and if you send me a picture of you holding it or playing it, I'll put it in the gallery of fiddles and their owners.Or, if you prefer, stop by the shop and Tom, of Tom Collicott Photography, will take a picture of you with your fiddle suitable for use as a publicity image. Let us know that you're coming by so we can have some lights set up.

Monday, August 2, 2010 Italy

Sitting here in LaRoche sur Foron, France, and about to travel to Ancona, Italy, I realize that Cremona is essentially on the way and we have free time. A no-brainer. Ted, Sharry, Dan and I will stop in and take a look at the Cremonese Strad that my last two or three fiddles were based on. It's kind of like cold calling for a salesman-knock and hope. Great adventure.

Currently there are two new fiddles waiting for homes as Lasley & Russ Violins in Downtown Ballard, Seattle. They are the darker two in the picture just below this entry.
